I am such a slacker! I can't believe that I have not posted to my blog in forever. I really need to work on that. It is becoming so hard to manage my time and get everything done in the day that I want to get done. I also procrastinate really bad, so that surely does not help. I am so bad at saying "I will do it later" and when later comes I say the same thing. Thank you Leslie for sending me a note this morning and telling me that I need to get my butt in gear. I love you sister!
Since I am so bad, I guess I should post some Christmas pictures. I guess better late than never! LOL
This is Lucas getting a special shirt on Christmas. Ever since Barack Obama started to run for president, everyone told Lucas that he looked just like Obama. So I had a very good friend from www.paintmearainbow.com make a special shirt for Lucas. I am not sure if you can read it, but it says "Don't ask me to do anything. I am busy running the country." He loved his shirt! Thank you so much Tammy you are awesome. She is awesome to work with and if you check out her store, tell her that I sent you!
Molly had an absolute blast! She loved loved loved Christmas! She had so much fun opening everything. I love how in the middle picture she is looking at her gift with such pure joy!
Today is inauguration day and I am filled with such hope for this country. I have been so stressed over the economy, especially living where I live. We have been hit so hard by things. My husband has been laid off more than he has worked this last year. I know they say feast or famine with the union, but this is getting to be a little too much famine. I am praying that he has more work this year. My job has also been hit really hard and I don't know from one day to the next on if I will have a job the next day. We rely heavily on the automotive industry, which of course in in shambles right now.
I have complete faith in Barack Obama. Now if we can just get congress on board and stop all the in-house nitpicking, maybe, just maybe, this country can come together as one and pull us out of this economic disaster.
